This is a video made by Brad Troemel, that is pretty much just a video montage of a number of young girls recording themselves reciting their MySpace account number. You have to do this if someone makes a fake account under your name (steals your photos, etc.) to prove it’s not you and get it deleted.
This video is strange, for various reasons. First off: that these girls are all either revered or hated enough to have someone want to make a fake account of them. Micro-celebrity on a very micro level, I guess. Also: all the girls in the video are remarkably similar: piercings, weird clothes, stylish hair, flattering camera angles (that one’s almost a MySpace trademark), and they’re almost all generically appealing. Do only pretty people get their accounts faked, or do only pretty people care?
